Russia has been denied access to the Tartus port by Syria, blocking the evacuation of Russian weapons.

This limits Russian access to the Mediterranean, critical for Russia to be able to provide support for it's military and privately contracted military forces in Africa.

India is likely to import more U.S. oil after Trump announced plan to increase energy exports, India's Oil Minister said.

India is one of the largest importers of Russian oil. After recent U.S. sanctions on Russian oil and rising prices, India looks for other sources.
