If I hadn't been trans I would have fallen for MAGA and much of my hatred for them is my hatred for myself.

That's why I wanted a final stand. To eliminate myself in the process.

I'm way too much like Mr. C in that 1940 Harper's piece: smart but humiliated to nihilism. Resentful of the struggles I've had to face. Happy to be the one wearing the boot for once.
