I have started watching rat care videos by a YouTuber who seems to know what they are talking about, just collecting knowledge to make things easier when we get rats (I was a teenager when I had them last & probably could have been a much better owner).
I've learnt a bunch about what the ideal cage should and shouldn't feature and now I can't find a single cage in a store locally that ticks all the boxes 🙃
Edit: oh neat, the rat fancier society has a bunch of useful local(ish) info!
