Why you have to be like that?

Of course I have story ideas all the damn time, and I frequently "consider" abandoning my current project to chase after them, but that way lies a hard drive of half-finished novels and short-story cycles.

Money's not an issue--it only tracks resources, people will give you stuff for free if you ask and just note down the value in terms of environmental impact--so she'd probably go to an elevated plaza full of food machines and watch the city fly by.

[#]PennedPossibilities 561. Give us your thoughts on the genre of your WIP. Do you love it, is there not enough stories written within it, are you an avid reader of the genre, etc.?

The genre of my WIP leans into hard SF (with one effectively magical element). I think hard SF is a lot of fun if you use real(ish) sci/tech as part of the story but less so IMO if you make your story about the sci/tech. just my preference.

@KathyBryson I don't know if there's anywhere to "get," you know? The publishing industry is basically a cartel, Amazon publishing is a scam, and self-publishing is an entire job on top of the job of writing. Maybe I like being a hobbyist and earning a living doing something else!
