@coeusprime i'm definitely curious about how social shit was before the internet went mainstream. i imagine it had both benefits and drawbacks depending on your personality, like people in the past probably had less ability to accurately express their insides, and everything was more shadowy as a result, which i don't think i'd do well with lol

@coeusprime basically whenever your shit gets so long it'd be annoying to scroll past on the tl it'll just cut it off partway through with the show more button so you can expand it if you wanna read the rest

also you can add a content warning on your post, which hides the whole thing with the same show more button, except for a message about the contents which you write

@detondev a brief aside, in many ways if not for the internet I would interact with exactly nobody . The Lewy bodies have attacked and destroyed parts of my brain. It's like if you shot your brain with a shotgun, where the pellets hit is damaged such as speech, memory etc. In my case I got expressive aphasia meaning what is in my head gets jumbled up on way to mouth. Different words, wrong words, now I can barely speak with my mouth. Have you seen the 80s flick The Dream Team.
