I will post something more positive and helpful in a little bit, but just needed to say:

this morning I am horrified by actions of men. yes, men in politics and yes, men with a lot of money. but also men who are divorcing my friends and refusing to pay alimony or stay in touch with their 3 young children. and much much worse.

when they asked AOC if she was coming to inauguration, she said she doesn’t celebrate rapists.

SF’s Arts & Lectures invited Jeffrey Toobin to come speak in February. I emailed them asking if he will be exposing himself during the entirety of the conversation or just at a VIP reception for those paying extra. Because I don’t celebrate these types of people either and showing your dick to an assembly of your coworkers on a fucking Zoom call is sexual assault. (no response received, in case you were wondering, but feel free to join me in inquiring. snark not required.)

and yes I know: “not all men.”

and yes, women do bad things and enable these men.

but until women have as much power as these men, until women have as much money as these men, until women aren’t under constant threat of their bodily autonomy being taken away based on where they live and what a man’s body did to theirs, I’m focused on being horrified by actions of men.
