@bobthomson70 There are probably others but yes that track doesn't scream their use as much as so many other 80s tracks. Just part of the production. Subtle enhancements without the later overkill of so many orch stabs all over the track (I'm looking at you Paul Young's I'm gonna tear your playhouse down - like Orch tab tourettes at the end of that track).

@emsquared often I hear later 80s songs and am surprised how many orch stabs still appear. PSB in particular.

@bobthomson70 It's ridiculously gimmicky. Obviously when those sounds were new it was great but much as I love the 80s so much of it is cringe-embarrasingly dated by the love affair with music tech.
