I wish it weren't true, but there it is.

I see many many calls to climate action here on Mastodon, but as I think is obvious to those making the calls, very little traction. I think at this point we're just defining who we are as a species. We have short-term preferences for comfort and enjoyment. We have limited interest in the future.

Porsches with 18 MPG combined will be sold this week, to reasonably smart and reasonably informed people.
