@baldur No need for guilt I guess. Just preserve some sanity, rule of law, democracy, books and good journalists - you might want to teach the rest of the world, when it's time again. 😬

@aguleb The thing is, we’re genuinely bad at all of those. Icelandic courts regularly get slapped down in European Court of Human Rights. Our democracy and media is dominated by oligarchs. It’s just that we’ve been at roughly the same level of dysfunction for decades while everybody else is declining, making us look good 😄

The book thing is true though. We’re quite good at books, proportionally speaking. 🙂

@baldur Robert Habeck, one of our key politicians here in Germany, recently published a book titled "Den Bach rauf". Not sure how good your German is, but swimming against the tide seems like a good idea these days. 😉
