i think one thing that comes thru with the Red Note situation, is the workers and middle classes in china are generally a lot more class conscious and media critical than americans, the chinese people involved also are well aware of the governmnet / censorship shit, americans are just as censored / police for their posts on line, people go to jail for posts all the fucking time in the US but do everything on socmed.
