I need to care for my mental health and that includes limiting random exposure to political news because there's not much good coming from it recently.

This is why I decided on the following policy to moderate my personal feed:

1. If you boost political content without a content warning, I will hide your boosts.

2. If you post political content without a content warning, I will unfollow.

I will not discuss this and I will not notify you. The following toot contains example topics:

• voting campaigns, including leftist meta of self-cannibalism about who you should vote for

• election results and surveys

• posts about how it will be when (if?) the fascists win

• calls for action, including demonstrations

• jokes and memes about politicians and parties

• a person of interest has publicly aligned themselves with a political party/person
