What happened to nuance?

It was not very smart of Andy Yen to tweet about anything to do with politics but it seems like everyone is going into a cramp and cannot believe there is more than black and white.

I thought the Ferdiverse was very different from Twitter but I believe I was mistaken.

@src_esther Lots of people on the Fediverse do not carefully read things and sometimes respond immediately, and with all the fascist boot licking since weeks (Musk,Bezos,Zuck etc) people may be angry. Also : Lots of folks post images or news without any source. It's a fast chaos lane sometimes.

I can't read the Reddit post (blocked) but here's comments on Lemmy : https://lemmy.world/post/24313503 and https://lemmy.world/post/24301835 as well as copies of what Proton posted. I'll refrain from commenting for now.

No idea why you can't read that reddit post, I don't have an account and for me it's perfectly readable.

Sorry, but you provide links to all sorts of speculations, I'm not going to waste my time reading them all. That which I have read is as ungenuine as what I see passing by here on Mastodon.
