The annual Chinese New Year order list from Mum:

• peanuts

• Mandarin oranges (1 crate)

• Shandy (why I don't know)

• bak kua (preserved meat)

I have to do the daughterly duty and buy them. 9 more days to CNY. My plan of escape is not happening I think lol. I want to escape to KL* for a staycation on the 2nd day but I can already picture the look of disappointment the parental units will give me lol

• KL will be deserted during peak CNY. It's the best time to be anti-social there
