Are there stories of companies that moved (or tried to) from #M365 to on prem? I'd like to read some experiences. Rarely you hear of exits...

@Newk Not the best story but;
At a medium sized company I was at, my first project was an on-prem to 365 email migration. Later that year 365 become 364 due to an outage and the CEO decided that warranted us bringing everything back on-prem.
It didn’t go well, mostly because setting up and managing Exchage is awful, and because they refused to pay for colo so we had to shutdown our “server room” a few times a year when the ancient HVAC system stopped working. Which is hilarious because we left 365 due to it being “unreliable”.
The actual migration wasn’t too bad, once all the infrastructure was set up on our end. I can’t recall the name of the tool but there was something we used to bulk import and the keep mailboxes in sync while we cut over.
That was ~8 years ago now, last I heard they’re back on 365.
