@wmd thanks for sharing the nice photos. I think the straight tree lined road is the most Netherland thing

we even have a specific word for it "laan"

And the photo of the person with the dog reminds me of visiting my grandparents outside of Schijndel and waking with their Benner Senner farm dog straight through the farm land when I was a teen, just taking a handfull of food to be able to lure "bo" back and go
