One of these days the development curve of #PixelFed should stop going through the "regression" stage.
I use Pixelfed almost on a daily basis, I really like how it works and I'm very happy with it but we have to recognize that today it's risky to make it the #Fediverse showcase.
With bugs not dealt with by the dev (which is scattered across too many projects), it risks disgusting people who will believe that this is the level of our federated networks.

The bugs I see at the moment are problems in notifications, the inability to connect third-party applications and some rare image corruptions. In itself that doesn't stop you from using it but it can become annoying.
(And that's without mentioning the developer himself who is like Rochko on Mastodon, not the safest and most deconstructed guy in the world. To say the least)
