The existence of things like the Manticore Heavy Tank basically means that none of the mechs in this universe make sense.

If you can strap 4 heavy weapons to a tank that's really low to the ground and difficult to hit, why would you strap those same 4 weapons to a mech that is basically a huge metal dude standing up

Idk if it's all the mods I'm using but all those missions where you have to destroy sattelite uplinks, dodge artillery and conquer a command post are way too fucking difficult

It would make so much sense to place a turret on a battelmech, but apparently that violates the constraints of the setting.

Come to think of it, it's actually really hard to believe that a battlemech would be operated by one single person. A main battle tank in the real world is crewed by three to five people. So why would a battlemech, which is a far more complex machine, be able to be operated by a single pilot?
