I never bought into the internet utopianism that predicted it'd help democracy & enlightenment flourish etc, but I did think at least the information would be out there for the curious to find, now even that looks naive & unrealistic

@mattround even if the information is out there, it’s entirely down to the interpretation of anyone who finds it as to what it means. we’re all creating our own reality. i call it “the idiot box”. well, I don’t, but I might as well.
