I made a stop at the hardware home center for a replacement lightbulb. It’s really cold today and we’ll probably fire up the fake fireplace. The old one was a regular filament bulb and it lasted 12 years. The new bulbs are better LED bulbs and last 15 years. But they only come in 3-packs (almost $15 with tax). When I got home I suggested to Bob that we gift the extra bulbs to the grandkids when we’re gone. Then I Duck-taped the extras to the back of the fireplace to boost resale value.
