One of the biggest signals for integrity I use is what someone does when confronted with evidence they're wrong. Do they:

1. Double down, blame others, try to repair any damage to their image/ego

2. Admit they were wrong, thank others, try to repair any damage their actions caused

(I'm not perfect but I work on this in myself too)
