@MostlyHarmless biggest +++ from me. I recognised right at the start of TikTok’s journey that it was controlled by the CCP (basically) and I didn’t want any unnecessary data being harvested by them. I’m based in China anyway and ALL my data is seen by someone, somewhere. If I could minimise this, then it would at least give me the illusion of control.

@spamdunk @MostlyHarmless I am more concerned about what Meta would do with my personal data than the CCP, but in any case I don't touch any app from Meta or TT!
