@monoxyd@mastodon.social Bei Pixelfed (und auch bei PeerTube) habe ich immer ein bischen das Gefuehl, man legt von der UX her wenig Wert darauf, von anderen Instanzen, und erst Recht nicht anderen Softwaren, aus erkundet werden zu koennen. Fuehlt sich immer wie Insel an. Case in Point: Gerade deinem Pixelfed-Account von hier aus gefolgt, musste mir dazu die volle ID @monoxyd@pixelfed.social selber basteln, weil nirgends im UI zu finden...

Den Accountnamen muss ich aber selber wissen, klar, als Techniker ist das geistig keine Herausforderung, aber einfach copypasta geht eben nicht, waehrend die meisten mastodon/pleroma/akkoma/etc instanzen mindestens das, wenn nicht gleich den API-Call "auf meiner Instanz folgen" anbieten.

@monoxyd kann sein das dein Client das Bild direkt aus der Foto App exportiert. Die Effekte werden nondestruktiv, auf das Bild angewendet, die Bliddatei selber wird nicht angefasst.

Für mich als Follower finde ich es am angenehmsten, wenn Leute ihre Highlights von Pixelfed auf Mastodon boosten. Dann sehe ich, dass es auch einen pixelfed-Account gibt und kann entscheiden, ob ich dem auch folge, um auch die anderen Bilder zu sehen.
In die Bio schaue ich nur, wenn ich jemandem neu folge. Und auch dann ignoriere ich meist die ganzen "mich gibt es auch auf"-Links. Nicht unbedingt als bewusste Entscheidung.
