The #TikTok era is over, and I don't think anything is going to truly replace it. I've tried 6 or 7 different alternatives over the past couple years and none of them hold a candle to pre-2023 TikTok's algorithm.
Their algorithm was the heart of the service, and it's ability to connect people in a way no other social media platform had ever before. There were plenty of short form video services before it and there will be many more after, but none of them had that magic sauce that was the FYP
