Okay, shower time after preparing for possible hotel visit if we lose power to the low temps next week. Thank goodness there's a hotel nearby that allows cats!

It's hard to find hotels or motels that accept cats yet many take dogs! It makes no sense to me. When I was moving from California to WA, I found a hot springs hotel that had 3 units set aside for people with cats. It was wonderful, soaking in the tub while the cat looked on, totally mystified.😂

@godzero @Lizette603_23 we have had to sneak our cats in on a luggage cart when we're transporting them across the country. Cats are much lower impact than dogs on hotel rooms.

I asked a few places why they would accept dogs but not cats. The most common answer was they make a noise! Of course, a dog barking is much quieter than a cat's miaow, isn't it? 🤦‍♂️
