Imagine a client app that connected to mastodon.social and Bluesky.

You could read threads that include posts from both systems.

Voila, if a billionaire buys Bluesky, switch to masto.

Wouldn’t cost say $30 million and could be done pretty quickly. 😁

I've been testing out Friendica, the Facebook type ActivityPub client, on my-place.social and it allows adding your BlueSky contacts and found out you can also import your Mastodon contacts, as well as RSS feeds! It can take like 30 min for your Bluesky posts to start showing up and the Mastodon import takes a few seconds per contact.

It's a little rough, but I think it's all I need for now!
