@dansup My Pixelfed account is bridged to Bluesky and it's amazing. I link to it from my Bluesky profile and occasionally repost some of my photos to my broader Bluesky audience. But it was non-obvious to do this. You could make it the default.

@mike @dansup the bsky bridge was originally opt-out, but there was an outcry and it was changed to be opt-in. Its pretty simple, just follow the bridge! I don't think its pixelfed specific, so I don't see how dansup can do anything.

@QuadRadical @dansup Very, very few people know how to do this or even that they can. Only fedi savvy folks know about the bridge and that's a tiny subset of photographers who want to share photos on the social web.

@progressivecat @dansup Both. To use it you just follow @bsky.brid.gy from your Mastodon account. After that, people on Bluesky can find and follow you and reply to your posts.
