Meanwhile, the photos taken during the Truman reconstruction of the #WhiteHouse really show what a ruinous, deathtrap condition it was in after 150 years of cutting holes for plumbing, venting, communications, gas, and electricity. There were spots where only a couple inches of split wood were holding it up.
