it is so funny seeing the "no mouse challenge" as an accessibility thing while vim users have been doing that by choice for decades and have been integrating that into all kinds of software for a long while now. like it doesn't use a mouse for using mastodon in the deck ui since vimium c does the job much better than a mouse does lol

@leo judging by the fact that it is surprisingly easy to type on a steam controller (to drive the point home: this post is being typed on one) it'd probably also not suck for vim-like inputs. (it would probably be a better experience to use it as mouse+keyboard and not keyboard only but it works)

@leo (also. it was referring to the mastodon deck ui, not a steam deck, but interpreting it this way and typing that on a steam controller was much funnier than pointing that out)

@lexi i typed "I'm using tilt controls!" using the kde on screen keyboard via steam controller gyro once. was a nightmare, don't recommend it
