Winter.

But still: a rose.

This rose was forming end of November, I spotted the bud early December and wondered what in the world this flower was thinking. I didn't know what would come of it.

But yesterday, I stepped into the garden and took this picture. This beautiful rose has been through night freeze multiple times, but is still beautifully formed.

In contrast to the ones in summer though; this beauty is not fragrant. But it's gorgeous nonetheless. And special because it formed in winter.
