Is ditching phones after work cool or unfair? If jobs need us online all day, is ignoring tech in free time like saying "I'm better"? Does saying no to tech, like video games, outside work make others feel bad? Are we pretending the past was perfect? What do you think? #TechBalance #TechShaming #NostalgiaTrap #AdultGaming #DiscussionStarter

@MartinGuay

My last three cell phones each lasted me 7 years or more. I am always "behind the latest tech".

I often get razzed for being in the stone age. Especially when I clung to my Blackberry until the phone network no longer supported it.

@snacktraces I believe it.

I often see people working in tech, having no tech at home or the ability to up their skills to be future-proof. I also see many adults giving hell to others for playing video games saying it's for kids only. Some studies indicate that video games keep adults engaged, and cognitive, increase dexterity, and help all sorts of facets of life. Many adults say, "You're stupid for playing video games" not realizing the benefits. Why is #TechShaming so big?
