I've been cold at night recently, so when I remade the bed after washing the sheets I added another blanket.

Friends, last night I woke up at some ungodly hour feeling as if I'd been slow-roasted to a crisp.

Is there no balance to be found? 😭

Last night - same blankets, same bed, same me - no waking up roasty in the middle of the night. Just warm and comfy all night long. Hooray!

Years ago when I had cats, I had heated beds for them. Floyd would sleep in there until he was close to boiling, then come blearily staggering out of the bed and spend the next hour putting all his rumpled fur back into place.
