Just some thoughts:
What's the point of talking crap about other platforms and their users?
Is preaching to the choir (the already convinced) so much fun?
Is it nice, to spit into what might be a new arrival's old digital home?
What's the point of telling we're better, instead of just being that?

I think that implies Mastodon has a certain attraction that is not suitable for the majority of social media users

What's the point of talking crap about other platforms and their users?
If you just mean comments of the 'Platform X sucks and is run by a giant dickhead' variety, I agree. But some part of my mind reads this as objecting to any critical commentary about the business of online platforms. That I strongly disagree with.

I wouldn't assume that everyone listening here, or on the web, is part of "the choir".
