@scozmos We're getting shoals of herring and sprats moving in and out of the Firth and the dolphins are following them around - I should have been out there today looking but finishing off my monthly dolphin updates for the charity so shackled to a keyboard today.

@scozmos We get all 3 divers in this area Brian, mostly Red Throated but if you watch and listen carefully, you might come across some Great Northern Divers that spend weeks in the Chanonry Narrows getting crayfish and other snacks at this time of year. @scozmos They can dive for ages and travel quite far underwater so you can lose them easily, or at least I do but if it's calm then you can re-acquire them again after a few minutes.

I was lucky to watch a couple of GND and Reds off Lewis last year @Dolphinchaz boy they travel! Watched a pair of Black-throated on a reservoir near me for most of last year but, no young, that I saw :(
