@theorytoe @binkle improving your ability to synthesis the piece you need, will allow for greater expression.

It will also be easier than the analysis required to incorporate a foreign piece. And, the peace will have better harmony because it is custom tailored.

Just like how a skilled tailor can always produce a better fitting, or better purpose fulfilling item of clothing than something store bought, massed produced and that caters to the average.
