Of all the horrific possibilities /probabilities looming on our horizon from Tuesday’s “First Official Lie Day,” the one that feels the most portentous to me is the compulsion to please/mollify/satisfy 47 — no matter what.

This craving carries the stench of abject obeisance , serf to emperor, penitent to Pope - while completely ignoring the reality of this flawed, flawed, flawed, weak & cruel little worm.

@cynblogger I agree this will happen but I feel like the why is being oversold. I hear people talking like there’s this evil presence that’s so unstoppable people are kowtowing to out of fear and self preservation. I’m not so sure. I see a lot of people who maybe always wanted to behave this way and now they have an excuse.

It’s hard to tell the cowards from the co-conspirators.
