The thing to do to avoid this would be to see it was inevitable are start reducing exposure several years ago, which is totally a thing that was obvious then. Instead we have companies making bets on the next big thing (think AI) in a way that threatens the whole economy.
Like I don't particularly like Microsoft but if they become financially unstable due to AI collapse it fucks almost all other large businesses.
