Jetzt wo die Grippewelle losgeht, ist ein guter Moment, euch an meinen Nummer-1-Tipp gegen Infektionskrankheiten zu erinnern.

Wascht euch die Hände. Regelmäßig.

Bei Grippe machen Schmierinfektionen zwar nur etwa 10% des Infektionsrisikos aus (bei Covid würd ich ähnliches vermuten), aber wenn ihr Maske tragt, wird das natürlich mehr.

Bei anderen Erregern wie Adenoviren sind Schmierinfektionen sogar mit die wichtigste Route. Und dann gibts ja nocht die fäkal-oral übertragenen Erreger.

@antiaall3s Doch, das ist eine einfache und effektive Alltagsmaßnahme gegen eine enorme Bandbreite von Viren und Bakterien. Und anders als Masken wirkt sie auch im sozialen Nahfeld, wo sich die meisten Leute anstecken.

"Airborne" ist halt so ein Social-Media-Slogan, aber im big picture ist das nur so mittel hilfreich.

«Soziales Nahfeld» – gemütliches Abendessen in einem Wohnzimmer. Anwesend 6 Personen. Man spricht und lacht. 1 Person ist infiziert. Nach 1 h ist die Virendichte in der Atemluft so hoch, dass Ansteckung hoch wahrscheinlich.
