Sony patents idea to have AI predict what button you're going to press next to reduce input lag in gaming,

If that's not the stupidest idea of how to use AI... I've yet to hear of it.

Why not go one step further, have AI remove the player entirely, cut the player out of the loop... then remove the game from the loop... have the AI and the developer sitting around playing with themselves. It would save time for gamers to be wage slaves working longer hours and it would save energy that would otherwise be wasted on gaming instead of for the profit of others.

Then we could remove the AI entirely and be left with a bunch of wankers.
