Reminded myself that it was almost 10 years since Twitter rolled out the non-linear "for you" feed https://www.globalnerdy.com/2016/02/06/twitter-developer-discovers-what-its-like-to-use-twitter-experiences-the-developer-user-gap/

And that twitter devs didn't use twitter like the rest of us.

I'd just like to add to it that they did indeed "ruin twitter" in the long run as they developed it into an amplification machine for right-wing propaganda.
