A ver si alguien me puede decir así se lo aclaro a mis padres por qué en los incendios de Los Ángeles no usan agua del océano para apagar los fuegos. Parece una tontería pero si no lo hacen por algo será.

@Khayman I suspect the answer is the difficulty of getting the water from the ocean to the fire, but I think there is a specially designed fire-fighting plane here in Australia that’s capable of scooping up water from a lake/ocean to drop onto a fire.

Parce que l'eau salée serait nocive pour la végétation et pour que la vie reprenne derrière ? Pas sûr du tout. D'autant que les Canadairs vont puiser l'eau dans la mer pour éteindre les incendies dans le sud de la France, donc ça ne doit pas être ça.
