this is kind of a stupid statement because it's going to die on the books anyway. talk about trying to make yourself look smart. "Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he will remove the Liberals' proposed higher inclusion rate on capital gains taxes if he becomes prime minister.

@gtbray yeah, why is this a news story. that legislation is dead now. they don'tt have to do anything.

@bmoore123 except that people will read this and think he is doing something great. sad part is that it effects only people who for the most part already make way to much money.

@gtbray yes, I think that is his plan. Maybe we need more civics courses. if Parliament is prorogued , all legislation that was pending is gone because it will reset with the new one. I just figured everyone knew that.
