I know we are all excited about switching to Pixelfed from Instagram but don't sleep on Callsheet by @caseyliss. It is an excellent replacement for the ad infested IMDB.

@stephanie @caseyliss The other bonus is that when you look up a show Google doesn't start showing you spoiler filled articles because Casey doesn't sell your data.

@macdonst I absolutely do not care enough to pay a subscription, I honestly would take an ad supported model. With ads that don’t freeze my phone and have respect for users.

@caseyliss I'll admit, I'm not an Apple expert.

…I don't even like Apple's products, (unless it's an Apple 2), but I can understand why some peoples does. I also understand a dev' using Apple's products in their everyday life not wanting to use some of their time to make an Android version. (An android equivalent might very well already exist, anyway.)
