We might never know what was said or agreed behind closed doors, but it appears that unexpected pressure on Netanyahu trom the incoming Trump administration combined with a slight shift in domestic Israeli political landscape contributed to the ceasefire deal, obviously too early to tell if Israel will uphold its end of the deal. Some political analysts have suggested that Trump wants this mess ended so he can focus on consolidating power at home

I suspect that both the arseholes in America (Biden and Trump) agreed to pull the plug on netanyahu's genocide at this point in time, so they can both claim credit.
Biden could have ended the slaughter of Gaza after a week, but he's a zionist and an anti-Palestinian, so he waited until his last month in office.
