Worst #Emacs decision I ever made was using straight.el 🤮

I did an upgrade and it broke everything. No Emacs for 2 days and counting. 🤬

Pulling the latest git commits assumes that the main branch is stable...yeah...sure. 🤦‍♂️

Now I need to unravel this mess.

@svw I'm not sure what you expect. If you're telling Straight to use the main branch (i.e. not using another branch you considered stable or a specific tag), then it will happily do so. Straight does not assume anything: you ask it to use the main branch, it uses it.

@galdor Oh, I understand that. It's definitely (mostly) my fault, but replacing use-package with its own version makes debugging a pain.
