Eigentlich ist es (aktuell) egal, ob der Stil von neueren Autor*innen gut oder vielleicht (noch) eher durchschnittlich ist, da größere Verlage nur den aktuellen Markt bedienen (wollen) und auf die sichere Bank setzen.

Kleinverlage haben ohnehin nur limitierte Möglichkeiten.

Selbiges gilt für Agenturen, die natürlich auch lieber aufs sichere Pferd setzen.

Nur ein paar Gedankenfetzen meinerseits.

Ich glaube da könntest du Recht haben.

Immer wenn ich mir die üblichen großen Buchläden anschaue, und mich mal durch die Auslage blättere, dann scheint dass alles in sehr gewohnten Bahnen zu verlaufen. In meinen Augen sehr wenig was wirklich neu oder besonders ist, oft sehe ich kaum was interessantes.

@njakob finde auch wirklich schade, dass "der Markt" meint, dass nur das auch "Massengeschmack" auf "den Markt" kommen soll.

Wahrscheinlich bewahrt mich das vor viele gute Bücher zu lesen.

@njakob Mein Gedanke ist dabei auch, dass einfach verdammt viele Menschen wirklich schlechte, seichte Bücher lesen und glauben dass die gut sind, dass es normal ist die zu lesen, weil es einfach das ist was "der Markt" in Masse anbietet. Und daraus schliesst "der Markt" dass solche Bücher besonders gut sind, weil sie oft gekauft werden.
