Hardly seems to make sense to make consuming impossible for some in a consumerist socioeconomic system.
But then, if one were to make a list of the policies that do make sense, one would not need a very big piece of paper.
Given the elaborate systems and laws that set and control the cost of money and labour I'm rather surprised that the cost of goods and services cannot also be controlled.
I'm beginning to suspect that there's no will to do so.
