Wrote up a short post on a new trail I found, the Camino de Costa Rica, which goes coast to coast. I love that's done as an economic development scheme for interior communities, similar to Oregon Scenic Bikeways!

@ericholscher whoa dang that looks cool! I’ll be in Costa Rica next month, gotta see if I’ll be anywhere close enough to go check out a bit of the trail!

@jacob I can now officially talk about the fact that we’re gonna go hike it in April :-) what are you doing down in Costa Rica?

@ericholscher that’s awesome, I’m jealous! I’ll be there for a family vacation, so probably can’t sneak away to hike much — but we will be in Quepos for some of the time so might be able to check out a bit of what’s there!

@jacob A lot of it is on back roads it seems like, so not an obvious destination on the coastal sections. Makes sense as a thru option, but I think the higher mountains are the more interesting part. Enjoy Manuel Antonio tho -- we're gonna hit it at the end of the hike.
