My HIFI stereo has a usb stick that i have put music on and deleted from over a period of 8 years. I think I am currently listening to a live set from Fiona? I am 90 minutes into it.

@q66 it is a cheap gift one. you know the silver plastic ones you see with company brands on it. barely write to it. just reading music off it for hours

@tammeow i'm just really prone to losing usb sticks...

and sometimes they just stop working too (though usually when i write on them)

but i also do have a plastic usb stick that i've had probably for a similar time and wrote on a ton of times and it's still working... my only usb stick that actually boots in every single powerpc mac
