My 34 milliseconds of fame: a picture with yours truly by Associated Press taken inside the NYC Apple Store on April 3rd, 2010 as I was buying two 1st gen iPads made the home page of various online outlets, including Le Figaro.
It's archived on the @internetarchive and you can still see it there (6th picture in the carousel)
It made me chuckle. What a time to be alive.

@internetarchive Anecdote: right after buying the iPads, the photographer approached me inside the crazy and noisy Apple Store (you can imagine the level of hysteria around us) and asked me for permission to use the picture. She showed it to me on her camera and made me sign a disclosure form right there. I'm not kidding.

@internetarchive But there's more: when I go outside, I see my dear wife Claudia… being INTERVIEWED ON LIVE TV for CNBC. I haven't been able to find that online, but I my eyes almost popped out of my orbits.
It was a surreal moment.
