One of my inherited records, I put this on without googling the album. I've never heard of Gilles Vigneault, or I don't remember hearing about him when I was younger. Maybe English language CBC didn't want to promote a separatist; no idea. I should probably be listening with a translation of the lyrics. Quite nice melodically. There's at least one other Vigneault album in the pile too. I'm guessing these were Mom's originally since she could understand French
